An eleven-year tradition this years camp included a water slide. Below are pictures of this years slide.
Two 100 foot rolls of plastic (overlapped at the bottom) 8 bottles of baby shampoo, and a long hose is all it takes for an afternoon of fun. The challenge, to make it to the end of the plastic (about 180 feet). The picture to the right is from the top of the hill looking down the track.
The picture at the left was taken laying down on the track looking up the hill. This position is just past the overlaid section, right were the soap puddle forms.
A group of campers start down the hill.
Here a group hits the soap puddle at the bottom of the hill.
A fast moving slider ‘explodes’ through the puddle.
A group ends their run in the soap.
And another first for Music Camp 2000 we talked Jayne into going down the waterslide (under her own free-will).
Jayne, Why does everyone else look like they are enjoying themselves?
